My name is Sifa Riziki and I live in Congo DRC with my mother. I come from a poor but deeply Christian family, and my upbringing has taught me the values of perseverance, faith, and hard work. My father traveled to South Africa to search for employment, which left my mother with limited resources to care for us. Life was very challenging during that time. Through prayer and determination, God has carried us through these difficult moments, and I am grateful for the opportunities I have today.
I met Jesus Christ through Young Life when a leader named Patrick invited me to Campaigners. There, I began learning about God’s Word through Bible study lessons, prayer, and fellowship with other students. Young Life has completely transformed my life and helped me become the person I am today. Now, I serve as a Young Life leader working with high school students. I lead my own campaigner group and encourage my friends and younger students to grow in faith, stay committed to their studies, and trust God’s plan for their lives.
As a DGL student, I am pursuing a degree in Business and Economics at the United Nations Initiative for Knowledge and Learning. My dream is to work in accounting after graduation, support my family, and give back by investing in Young Life. I hope to inspire other young people to follow Christ and pursue their education.
