Growing up as the eldest in a family with my mother, aunts, and younger brothers, I faced many painful challenges. After my father left us and denied our existence, life became extremely hard. We lived in a small hut, struggled to eat, and I had to give up my education at times so my brothers could attend school. Our neighbors mocked us, and I felt deep sorrow. Even after coming to Christ, I often wondered where the “new creature” within me was, since I still faced so much hardship. 

I was baptized in 2018, but my true transformation came later through Young Life. At first, I just went to see what the club was about. But things began to change when I met my Young Life leader and joined Young Life club. My leader supported me and helped me truly understand God’s love. From that day on, I began to live as someone renewed and filled with purpose. I found joy in becoming a Young Life leader myself and began sharing with others the message that the love of Jesus has no limits.

Now, through the Developing Global Leaders program, I am studying accounting at the University of Kindu. I dream of becoming an investor and business manager, not just for personal success, but to serve my country and help train godly leaders every few months. I want to create new clubs, share Christ’s love, and give others hope. With courage, determination, and faith, I believe I can help others find the peace and purpose that God has given me.
