I'm the oldest of four kids—one brother and two sisters. We all live together in a rural area that is known for its close-knit families and traditional way of life. Growing up was challenging. My parents often fought, and it affected us deeply. We struggled with having enough food and had to drink from nearby streams. Paying for school was a constant battle, and it made learning even harder.

Even with all those challenges, I always felt drawn to God. I was baptized as a baby and started going to church early. I learned about faith and Jesus, and wanted to know more. When I was in secondary school, I was invited to a Young Life club by a volunteer. The message they shared about Jesus really spoke to me, and I began a personal relationship with Him.

Now a Developing Global Leader, I am studying Water Resource Engineering at Uganda Polytechnic Institute and dream of becoming a water engineer to help bring clean water to my community. I am the first person in my family to attend university.  I want to study all the way up to a master’s degree. Right now, I lead several Young Life clubs. I hope to grow even more in leadership and someday become one of the local donors in Uganda, supporting ministry and education for others.
