Nicole Dinairis

My name is Nicole Doñe, everyone calls me Nicky, and I am from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. My two younger siblings and I live with my grandmother, a tireless woman with a God-loving, persevering spirit. My mother, an eccentric and loving woman always in pursuit of her next dream, lives nearby with my step-father. We have a unique relationship with many challenges but it has been a source of refinement and maturity for me. The most significant moment of growth in my faith occurred at Young Life camp. I began to have a more intimate relationship with Jesus and recognized that God is faithful to keep His promises. This experience gave me a clear vision of how God had always been working in my life and awakened my desire to work with young people so that they can know Jesus. I have a heart and passion to serve and lead in my community.

Now a Developing Global Leader, I am attending Universidad Autonoma of Santo Domingo and pursuing a degree in economics. I am interested in business strategies and statistics, and look forward to opportunities to assist businesses as a guide in their finances, create growth opportunities, and establish systems to help them prosper. I am particularly interested in aiding small businesses with limited resources and helping young entrepreneurs turn their dreams into a business plan. Ultimately, I hope that the youth of my community will know Christ through me.
