I grew up in a loving family where my parents worked hard to provide for us despite limited financial resources. There were times when meeting basic needs and continuing my education was difficult, but watching my parents sacrifice for our family taught me the value of hard work and responsibility. Through financial challenges and uncertainty about my future, I learned to trust God.
My relationship with Jesus has grown through Bible study, prayer, Christian friends and leaders, and my involvement with Young Life. I first heard about Young Life through friends who invited me to participate in its activities. What began as an opportunity to connect with others became an important part of my faith journey. Through club meetings, prayer gatherings, outreach, and serving others, I have developed a deeper relationship with Jesus and learned that following Him means trusting Him daily and reflecting His love through the way I treat others.
Now a Developing Global Leader, I am pursuing a degree in Economics and hope to use my education to understand economic challenges, analyze problems, and support responsible decision-making. I am the first person in my family to attend university, and the opportunity to continue my education has strengthened my determination to pursue my goals. I would like to work for an organization where I can contribute to projects that create opportunities for individuals and communities. I want to support young people and share the love of Jesus.
