Love

Love, also known as Abena Linky, is a first-year Fashion Design student at Accra Technical University from Eastern-Ahowdo, Ghana. Love was raised by her mother, Gifty Humali, alongside her siblings and grandmother. Growing up, financial struggles after her father left taught her resilience, responsibility, and the value of hard work from an early age. She is the first in her family to attend university, and she is determined to use education to build a better future for herself and her loved ones. 

Faith is at the center of Love’s life. She began her personal relationship with Jesus in secondary school during a time of illness, and now serves in the music department at Lighthouse Chapel International. For 3 years she has been part of Young Life, and for 2 years she has served as a Team Leader in the Eastern Area. She mentors youth ages 10-20 through her neighborhood club, leading with kindness, patience, and service. Her daily walk with God through prayer and the Bible gives her peace and purpose.

Now a Developing Global Leader, Love chose Fashion Design because she believes fashion is about identity and culture. Her vision is to blend Ghanaian textiles and craftsmanship with modern design. She hopes to build a brand in Eastern Ghana that creates jobs, supports local
artisans, and mentors young creatives — especially women - while honoring God through excellence and service.
