My name is Aniela. I live in Poland with my parents, sister and two brothers. I am the oldest in my family and have always been the responsible one. Even as a child, I was there for my siblings and friends. My parents were very supportive so I felt that I could give that support to others because I received so much from them. God also brought me peace after the death of my grandma when I was little, and he continues to bring me comfort daily.
I learned faith from my parents. My relationship with Jesus was always a part of my life thanks to them. They took me to church, taught me prayers, and showed me how to live out my faith daily. I fell in love with Jesus even more during my preparations for confirmation. I also got connected with Young Life while getting ready for confirmation. I went to camp, and then I started volunteering as a leader in my area.
As a recipient of the Developing Global Leaders scholarship, I am studying psychology at University SWPS Sopot in Sopot, Poland. After graduation, I want to be a clinical psychologist or psychotherapist. I want to work with people and bring them the same peace and comfort that I have received in my life. I also hope to grow as a Young Life leader, continuing to show God's love to teenagers.
