My name is Agathe and I live in Grenoble, France with my parents and sisters. I grew up in Michigan, where my parents were expats. When I was little, I struggled with anxiety, which manifested itself when I was away from my parents, trying new things, and overcoming fears. My parents were supportive and did everything they could to help me find peace.
I grew up going to church and began my relationship with Jesus when I was 6 years old. When I was 12, my family moved back to France and I immediately got involved in a local church and Young Life. Moving was a challenge; navigating a new culture, school, friends and language that I was only used to speaking at home. Trusting in God's plan and being a part of WyldLife and church helped me get through this. This fresh start also allowed me the space that I needed to give my anxiety to the Lord.
As a recipient of the Developing Global Leaders scholarship, I am studying nursing at University Grenoble Alpes in Grenoble, France. With my degree, I hope to become a labor and delivery nurse. I am passionate about babies, moms and helping others, and I want to spread the love of God in this field. I also plan to continue serving in our WyldLife ministry. I want to lead Campaigners with the middle school girls I disciple. This is important to me because I see the impact that my leaders had in my life and how special it is to be a part of this community.
