Neyman Jahir

I grew up knowing about Jesus, but my early years were not without challenges. One of the most difficult moments in my life was my parents’ divorce. I experienced confusion and sadness as our home changed. There were days when depression and anxiety made it hard to find motivation, and loneliness often felt overwhelming. With the support of my family and trusted mentors, I learned to ask for help and face my struggles honestly. Those experiences shaped my character and taught me compassion and the importance of faith.

My personal relationship with Jesus truly began after attending camp. A cousin had invited me to Young Life club, where I immediately felt welcomed and accepted without judgment. That invitation led me to camp, which became a turning point in my life. Serving others allowed me to experience the love of Christ in a real and personal way. Jesus brought healing, renewed my sense of purpose, and surrounded me with people who encouraged my growth. Since then, I have committed myself to sharing the gospel and serving the kids in my city.

Now a Developing Global Leader, I hope to become a director in my city and help develop strong, healthy leaders. I want to start new clubs, build teams that reach nearby communities, and contribute to the growth of the ministry across my metro area. Academically, I am committed to graduating with excellent grades, strengthening my English skills, and continuing my theological and leadership training. I also hope to find a job that allows me to support both my family and the ministry. I desire to live a life of service, helping others encounter the same transforming love of Jesus that changed my life.
