Diana Alexandra

I live in Chontales, Nicaragua, with my parents, my younger brother, and our pets, where my family serves as Young Life staff. Growing up in a home centered on ministry has shaped my values and my sense of purpose. From a young age I learned the importance of service and trusting God through change. Moving to new places and starting ministry in new communities has not always been easy, but it has helped me become adaptable and deeply connected to people and their needs.

My faith became personal after attending my Young Life follow-up camp, when I realized that serving Jesus was not just something I grew up around, but something I wanted to live for myself. Since then, my relationship with Christ has grown through prayer, church, and ministry. God has shown His faithfulness in powerful ways—protecting my family, healing my brother after a serious accident, and guiding me through moments of fear and uncertainty. Even when transitions felt lonely, He used those seasons to draw me closer and remind me that serving Him requires trust and obededience

Now a Developing Global Leader, my dream is to become an architect who designs functional and beautiful spaces that improve people’s lives while also supporting ministry. I am currently a Young Life club coordinator, and I hope to continue leading and expanding clubs as I grow. Through the DGL program, I want to strengthen my leadership, deepen my faith, and develop my skills so that everything I do—whether in architecture or ministry—brings glory to God.
