Growing up in Matagalpa, faith was always present in my home, especially through my grandmother and aunt, who introduced me to church and taught me to read the Bible from a young age. While my childhood held moments of joy, it was also shaped by hardship. My parents’ separation when I was five deeply affected our family.  At nine, I moved homes, which was difficult, but it opened new opportunities that slowly helped me reconnect with God. In my adolescence, health challenges forced me to stop studying for a time, leading to isolation and distance from my family, church, and faith.

In 2021, during a visit to Managua, a cousin invited me to a Young Life camp. There, I was reminded of God’s unconditional love and experienced reconciliation with Him. Although I wandered again for a season, God never stopped pursuing me. At another camp in 2022, I clearly felt His call to serve others. Through Vida Joven, discipleship, and community, my relationship with Jesus became more personal and intentional. Even through the loss of my father in 2023, I found comfort and strength in trusting God’s presence and promises.

Now a Developing Global Leader, I serve as the coordinator of the 3M Club, where I see God at work in the lives of kids. Looking ahead, I hope to begin my university studies in civil engineering while continuing to invest deeply in ministry. My desire is to develop leaders, walk closely with young people, and faithfully serve God.
