Meron

I grew up in the village of Kochi in Jimma in a Christian family. Life has not always been easy financially and emotionally but God has been faithful. As a teenager, I struggled with peer pressure, but through prayer and by choosing supportive Christian friends, I learned to stand firm in my faith.

I met Jesus during a church service that touched my heart. I connected with Young Life through a friend who invited me to club and it encouraged my faith. Presently, I'm a team leader serving high school kids.

Now a Developing Global Leader, I hope to complete my studies in Business Management at Rift Valley University and become a manager. I want to be a Christian leader and use my gifts to serve and mentor young people.
