I grew up in a Muslim family where life was simple but often marked by inner struggles. My parents taught me respect, discipline, and the importance of hard work. Yet as a child, I often felt alone with questions I couldn’t share openly, questions about God, life, and my purpose. Those quiet struggles shaped my heart and gave me a deep desire to seek truth. Later, as I moved away from my family to pursue my studies, I realized that the challenges of my childhood had prepared me to listen more closely to God’s voice and to open my heart to others in love.
My faith journey began when I started school. In that season of searching, I met a believer whose kindness and words about Jesus deeply touched me. For the first time, I understood that God was not distant but personal, loving, and calling me to walk with Him. That encounter became a turning point. As I studied, I felt God speaking to me, that I am called to be a spiritual sower, planting seeds of faith, hope, and love in others. In 2022, I joined a local church and soon after was introduced to Young Life. The joy and love I experienced there drew me in, and over time I became more involved, eventually serving as a club leader.
As a DGL, I hope to complete my studies with excellence, grow in leadership, and serve my community both professionally and spiritually. My dream is to impact lives through agricultural development specializing in crop production, soil improvement, and water management and through ministry with Young Life.
