I grew up in a humble family, and life presented challenges from a young age. I lost my father early and was raised by my mother in a simple neighborhood where meeting our basic needs was often difficult. Despite the hardships, my mother became my greatest teacher. She taught me patience, resilience, and contentment, even when resources were scarce. These experiences shaped my character, giving me strength and a deep sense of gratitude. They also nurtured in me a dependence on God, because I learned early-on that true hope and provision come from Him.

Later in life, I found myself searching for deeper meaning and direction. It was during this season that I attended a Young Life club. There, I heard the message of Jesus’ love in a personal way for the first time. I realized that faith was not just about tradition, but about a relationship with a living God who cared deeply for me. This realization changed everything. I made the decision to believe in Him and open my heart fully, and my life took on a new purpose. Through Young Life, I have continued to grow spiritually, learning how to live out my faith daily and share it with others.

Now a DGL student, my dream is to complete my studies in culinary arts and become a professional chef. One day, I would like to open a restaurant that reflecting values of care, hospitality, and service. At the same time, I want to serve my community through ministry and leadership, encouraging others to know Christ and pursue their God given potential.
