I grew up in a simple home where there was always love, even though life wasn’t always easy. My childhood had both happy memories and many challenges, and from a young age, I had to learn responsibility. My family faced emotional and financial struggles, and those experiences taught me to be strong and depend on God. I live alone and I’m raising my daughter and my son, who has cerebral palsy. Being a single mother isn’t easy, but it has given me a clear purpose. Looking back, I can see how God has used every part of my life to make me who I am today.
I met Jesus personally when I was 14 years old. I grew up knowing about God, but that was the moment when my faith became real. I opened my heart to Him, and since then, He has been my strength and guide through every season. Later, I was introduced to Young Life, I found a space where I could serve and be reminded that I’m not alone. Young Life became a family, and a place where my pain could be transformed into purpose, not just for me, but for the girls and families I now walk alongside. I am a high school and middle school leader, helping young people know God’s love.
Now a DGL student, I’m studying physiotherapy, focusing on helping children with disabilities. My dream is to use my education and ministry to make a difference, serving families, supporting young people, and raising a generation that loves and follows Jesus.
