Joseph

I was born into a family where I didn’t get to spend time with my parents. My father was a soldier who died during the war, and my mother lives with a disability. Because of that, I had no support in my studies and had to struggle on my own. I worked very hard just to survive and keep going with school, even when things felt impossible.

I met Jesus during a youth fellowship where the message was about salvation. That day touched my heart, and I decided to follow Christ. Later, one of my friends invited me to a Young Life club. I enjoyed the activities and the community, so I chose to join. Young Life helped me grow in faith and gave me strength during hard times.

Now, I dream of working hard to rise above the pain of my past. I want to change myself and help others too. I believe God has called me to serve in ministry and stay strong in my faith. As a Developing Global Leader, I am studying Computer Science at Juba University to prepare for a future where I can use both my skills and my heart to serve Christ.
