I had a good childhood in a Christian family. Before I turned 18, I moved three times, so I don’t feel very attached to places. My parents were missionaries in Africa, so I’ve known about God my whole life. Faith has always been part of my story.

I was invited to Young Life by my Young Life Leader. He met me while I was leading in my local church youth club and thought I would be a good team leader in Young Life. That opened a new door for me to grow in leadership and serve others. Young Life has helped me share my faith in a real and personal way.

Now a DGL, my dream is to become a teacher who students can trust—not just in school, but in life. I want to be a mentor to children and young people, helping them grow and discover Jesus through how I live and love. I’ll be studying at the Norwegian Teacher’s Academy, and I’m excited to keep learning, serving, and making a difference.
