I grew up in a small family of four—my parents, my younger sister, and me. When I was nine, we moved from a small rented house to a bigger home that my parents bought. Adjusting to a new neighborhood was a big change, but our neighbors were kind and welcoming, so I felt at home quickly. I still live in this same house with my family today, and I’m grateful for the stability and love we share.
My relationship with Jesus started very early in life. Both of my parents are Christians, so from the time I was born, I was surrounded by faith. I was dedicated to God as a baby and grew up attending Sunday school, praying before meals and bedtime, and later thanking God every morning when I woke up. These habits taught me to always be aware of His presence. Over the years, I’ve seen God protect and guide me through challenges, giving me peace when I’ve prayed for direction. I got connected to Young Life through my sister, and also by following their Facebook page. Being part of YL has encouraged my faith and given me a community where I feel supported and valued.
As a DGL, I’m planning to study Finance at university. I hope this education will give me the skills to build a stable future and also open doors for me to serve others. My goal is to grow not only in knowledge but also in my walk with God, using what I learn to help people and honor Him in all I do.
