I was born into a humble family that valued faith, hard work, and unity. We didn’t have much in terms of material things, but love and support were always there. My parents taught me to be content, grateful, and to trust in God no matter what life brought. Growing up with limited resources wasn’t easy, but those challenges shaped me into someone who can persevere.
I grew up in a Christian home, hearing about God from an early age, but my faith truly began to grow in Sunday school. I remember feeling the Lord touch my heart during those lessons in a way that was personal and real. Later, moving to a new city became a turning point for me. There, I met a Sunday school teacher whose life and teaching helped me understand who Jesus is and why I needed Him. Through their encouragement and the work of the Holy Spirit, I accepted Jesus as my Savior, and everything changed. Over time, I also joined Young Life, where I found a community that strengthened my walk with God. Today, I serve in a Lutheran church—singing, playing piano, leading worship, teaching the Bible, and guiding community prayer.
Now a DGL, I will be studying Natural Science at Dilla University. I want a career that allows me to serve people and lead with integrity, and I aim to keep developing as a leader who inspires and empowers others. In ministry, I hope to expand youth outreach and continue serving faithfully—helping others discover God’s love and purpose for their lives.
