I was born in the ghetto and started my education there before moving to the rural area to live with my dad around the age of twelve. Life was hard—my parents lived separately to support our family of six. After my mom passed away, my dad had to carry the full burden alone. He stepped away from being a pastor, and now we rely on small-scale farming. I often hustle to help support him, especially now that he’s growing older.
When I was ten years old, I was born again having grown up in a Christian family. I longed for a personal relationship with Christ. Later, I met a Young Life leader from Migori who introduced me to the ministry. Through Young Life, I found a deeper connection with God and a community that helped me grow spiritually and as a leader.
Today, I’m studying Education at Moi University through the Developing Global Leaders program. I’m the first in my family to attend college. My dream is to become a professional teacher who inspires youth, helps them to find their purpose, and shares the love of Christ. I want to serve others with my whole heart, walk faithfully with God, and one day see Jesus face to face.
