Olímpio José

I grew up in a different city with my mom while my father was studying. Life was hard—sometimes we had nothing to eat and couldn't go to school until my father found a job. Those early struggles taught me perseverance and hope.

In 2015, I began my relationship with Jesus at a Young Life outreach camp. My brother introduced me to Young Life, and after the camp, I started Bible studies with my Young Life leader and began attending church. That’s when my faith became real and personal.

Today, I’m a Developing Global Leader studying Accounting at Zambeze University. In the future, I hope God will bless me with a family, further my studies and continue serving in Young Life. My dream is to use my education and faith to make a lasting impact in my community.
