I was born in Shakiso City in the western Oromia region. My childhood was amazing and full of love from my family. I have always been curious about how things work, especially in science, and from an early age I dreamed of studying and working in the health sector. Pharmacy became my main goal—not just because it interests me, but also because it is a shared passion in my family.

When I was in grade 9, I was watching a spiritual television program for students, and a teacher spoke in a special way about the salvation and love of Jesus Christ. That message touched my heart deeply, and that day I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. Since then, God has continued to shape my life with His love. I read my Bible daily, pray, and study God’s Word with friends. Two years later, when I was in grade 11, I was invited to a Young Life club. After my first meeting, I felt welcomed and inspired, so I kept coming and eventually became fully involved.

Now as a DGL, I serve as a Team Leader with Young Life high school ministry. I love guiding and encouraging students in their faith, just as others did for me. My future goal is to graduate from Alkan Medical College in Addis Ababa with a degree in Pharmacy. I hope to use my career to help people in need, while also continuing to serve in ministry and share God’s love in both practical and spiritual ways.
