Himel

I was born into a Christian family and attended church services and Sunday school every week. During my childhood, I faced a serious health challenge when my head injury caused bleeding, and I needed a blood transfusion. My family was very worried because there was a risk of infection. They prayed to Jesus, and by the grace of our Almighty God, I was able to overcome this difficult time. My father managed to get money through a credit loan to pay for the operation. Now, I am healthy and grateful to God for His healing.

My personal faith journey began one day when another DGL met with me and spent some time talking about faith and the bible. Then she invited me to join Young Life Club. Since then, I started attending regularly. One day, she shared with me about Jesus Christ and salvation. I confessed my sins to God, asked for forgiveness, and accepted Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. That was the beginning of my faith journey and connection with Young Life.

My vision is to become a banker. As a believer, I also feel responsible for sharing the gospel with others. During my time in the DGL program and through my education, I hope to develop strong leadership skills. This learning will open up leadership opportunities for me in the future.
