My childhood was filled with good and also bad memories. I received a lot of love, attention, honesty and advice from my mother. My father was a very good man, but because my mom and my dad had difficulties in their marriage they divorced when I was six and very often, I was living with my mother. I also have an older brother and through the years we become closer with him too.
When I was younger I was very curious about who God is. The main religion in my country is a branch of Christianity that follows old traditions, like lighting candles, attending church regularly, and following sacred rituals. I can remember lighting candles every day when I was going back from school. I would stop at church, light candles, and pray to God. These rituals did not have much meaning in my life until I met a Young Life leader who told me about Jesus. She invited me to WyldLife clubs, Bible studies and to go through the new leaders training.
Now as a Developing Global Leader, I want to grow as a person and help others with honesty and care. I'm studying law at St. Cyril and Methodius University because I hope to build a more just world. My goal is to use both my mind and heart to make a difference, especially for people who aren’t always heard. I believe true leadership means serving others and lifting them up. My faith guides me to live with love, not just in church, but in everyday life.
