My childhood was simple, joyful, and filled with love. I grew up in a rural village and enjoyed peaceful days with my family. School and church shaped my character, while dreams of the future filled my heart with hope. As the youngest of five brothers, my family has always been my greatest support. My parents work hard in jhum cultivation, inspiring me with their dedication. Despite financial struggles and limited access to quality education and healthcare, I’ve grown through challenges. I still remember walking long distances and the hardship when my father, our only earner, was injured.

Though I was raised attending church, my faith was based more on tradition than personal conviction. That changed during a difficult time in my life marked by illness and emotional distress. Encouraged to read Matthew 11:28, I prayed, “Lord Jesus, if You are truly there, let me feel Your love.” The next morning, I felt an overwhelming peace that assured me I wasn’t alone. Since then, I’ve developed a personal relationship with Jesus through prayer, Bible study, and church involvement. Then, I became acquainted with Young Life and over the past year, I have had the privilege of serving as a volunteer, assisting with club and supporting the mission.

Now a DGL, I am determined to become an inspiring preacher, sharing my passion and faith with others. Alongside this, I want to excel in fundraising efforts to support God’s Kingdom. I am eager to embrace leadership opportunities and grow into a strong, effective leader.
