Yeva

Yeva is a committed young leader who lives in capital city of Armenia – Yerevan. She was raised by her mother, father, and grandmother. As an only child, she received a lot of attention at home, but it also led to the development of certain insecurities. Her parents rarely acknowledged her achievements, which created a lasting fear of failure and made it difficult for her to start new things with confidence.

From an early age, she had a genuine interest in religion, even before she fully understood what it meant to believe in God. A friend who was a Young Life campaigner introduced her to the organization and encouraged her to join. It was at her very first Young Life camp that she encountered Jesus for the first time. That moment deeply impacted her, and she made the decision to follow Him and never let go of His hand. Only a few months later, she felt a strong desire to support the ministry and take part in what God was doing through Young Life. Becoming a leader felt like a big responsibility, but it helped her grow in confidence and taught her to rely on God’s strength rather than her own.

She is currently studying Psychology at her local university. She chose this field to better understand how people think and feel, and to use that knowledge to help others. She is also open to learning new skills and exploring different areas of work. Her goal is to grow as a leader and to make a positive impact wherever she is called to serve.
