I grew up in a culturally and spiritually rich part of my country, but my family later moved to a large city in search of better opportunities. Life was not easy—my parents struggled to make ends meet, and we faced many emotional and physical challenges. Yet through every hardship, we saw God’s hand guiding and providing for us. These experiences taught me resilience, gratitude, and deep trust in His plan.

My faith story began even before I was born. After three years of marriage, my parents could not conceive and were heartbroken. They visited many religious places, but nothing changed. Finally, they went to a church where people prayed for my mother, and one week later, she was miraculously pregnant with me. That moment transformed our family’s faith—my mother removed all other idols from our home and chose to follow Jesus. Even when we were criticized for “changing religion,” she stood firm. Today, I stand in that same faith, knowing the God who gave me life can change any situation.

I first heard about Young Life through my cousin, who introduced me to local leaders. I was inspired by their vision to empower young people and quickly got involved. Now I help lead games at YL meetings and create videos and photos to showcase our work.

Now a DGL, I’m studying Media Management hoping to use storytelling as a meaningful platform to contribute to the world and inspire people. My goal is to grow in my leadership, inspire other young people to dream beyond their limits.
