I come from a humble and hardworking family. My father is a cobbler, and my mother works as a housekeeper. We live in a small town, and growing up was not easy due to financial struggles. Because of these challenges, I had to stop my studies to support my family. Even during those difficult years, I never gave up on my dream of continuing my education. Now, I have finally received the chance to restart my studies, and I am very thankful. I’m also the first in my family to graduate, and I want to use this opportunity to build a better future—for myself and my family.
My journey with Jesus began when my aunt introduced me to church. One day, I witnessed a miraculous healing of a sick girl through prayer. Later, my own mother fell ill, we turned to prayer, and she recovered. These two events became the turning point in my spiritual life—they helped me trust in Jesus personally. I got connected to Young Life through friends and church members. The open and friendly environment, fun activities, and deep conversations helped me grow in my faith. Young Life gave me a community where I could learn more about God, build strong friendships, and be encouraged to live out my faith in daily life.
My hope for the future is to complete my education in History and Political Science and build a stable career in the government sector. I want to use my education not just for myself, but to support my family and inspire others from similar backgrounds who have faced struggles like I did. I want to be someone who brings hope to others through faith and service. I know God has a purpose for me.
