Ángela lives in Acacías, Colombia, in a small but cozy house with her parents and three siblings. Her family is loving and has provided her with an education based on values and respect. 

During her childhood, Angela moved frequently due to her father's job, which helped her adapt easily to changes. In addition, when she was promoted two grades for her performance, she studied with older classmates. This experience matured her quickly, but also challenged her emotionally, as she felt the constant need to fit in. 

Angela was introduced to Young Life by a neighbor who recommended the club as a good place to socialize and meet Jesus. Since then, her life has changed profoundly. Young Life gave her a safe place to let go of rigidity, be herself and develop her faith in an authentic way. Today she is the director of the club and closely accompanies all the girls in the group. For her, this space is not just a ministry, but a family. 

She is currently in her first year of Systems Engineering with an emphasis on software development at the Universidad de los Llanos. Her vision for the future in Young Life is clear: she wants her club to grow, to reach more young people with the love of Jesus and to form a large group of girls where they can be free, loved and authentic. She dreams of creating spaces of true friendship, where young women find support, identity and faith.
