I grew up in a mining community where money was tight, but I worked hard in school and earned recognition for my achievements. Living in a compound, my academics helped me connect with other kids and build confidence. My parents always encouraged me, with support from their work friends and people at church, and that pushed me to keep reaching higher. I'm proud of my journey from humble beginnings to pursuing new opportunities.
My childhood was shaped by two very different influences—my mother, a devoted prayer warrior, and my father, who struggled with alcohol. This contrast left me confused at times, but I chose to follow my mother’s example. Church was optional in our home, but I’m thankful I went. In 2018, I gave my life to Christ and everything began to shift. My first experience with Young Life was at camp, where I felt Jesus speak into my heart once again. Not long after, I stepped into leadership with Young Life, eager to help others find the same hope I did.
Now as a Developing Global Leader, I am studying Entrepreneurship and Business Management at Lupane State University. My hope is to leverage my education and experience to secure a leadership role that drives growth and innovation, while also serving others through ministry and community service.
