Lametta is a young woman who lives in Israel with her family. The eldest of her siblings, she regards her responsibility as a role model and support for her three younger brothers as a high and cherished call. She started working to help support her family and contribute to the high cost of education as a teenager, persisting today to help her brothers who also want to complete secondary school.
Throughout her life, she attended a small church with her family where they would sing hymns and pray, providing a special atmosphere for Lametta to grow in her faith. She was invited to Young Life club by a friend and has continued her involvement, now serving as a team leader for her Wyldlife club. Lametta is dedicated to praying for those she loves and has a vision to see the students in her club grow deep in their faith, being strengthened into a firm foundation to anchor them as they grow and face challenges.
Lametta is driven to achieve her academic and career goals and will be the first in her family to graduate from university. As a Developing Global Leader, she is studying law at a local university and states, “I hope to be a strong and wonderful lawyer who can handle big responsibilities and cases, offering help to every oppressed person.” Lametta hopes that her life will be evidence of the presence of God to those she encounters, knowing only God can rescue the oppressed.
