I am Vardan, and I live in Kamaris, a small village in Armenia, with my father, mother, grandmother, and sister. I grew up in a loving family, and thankfully remember my childhood as a wonderful and adventurous period of growth. I have wonderful parents who spared nothing for me and my sister, but despite this, I was an unhappy person.
One day my sister went to a Young Life club and invited me. There I learned about Jesus, and it changed my life. I joined the Young Life team, got to know Jesus more and more deeply, and grew in faith. During the time I served in the army, I injured my knee and did not walk for over two months. I spent the majority of that time talking with God and I realized that my biggest desire is to share the good news of Jesus with teenagers who do not know Him.
Now, a Developing Global Leader, I am studying business and economics at a local university and majoring in accounting. My parents insisted that I choose accounting as my field of specialization, which I was not initially drawn to, but now, after beginning my studies, I have realized that I really like this field and whole-heartedly see my future in it. Above all, as a student, I have countless opportunities to meet new people, and I am eager to talk about matters of life and faith and share with them the good news of a relationship with Jesus.
