Fotion

Born and raised in Tirana, Fotion is a university student in the capital city of Albania. Fotion shares about his childhood, “Raised in an orphanage from the age of three, I grew up without the support of a family but was fortunate to be introduced to Jesus at a young age through Christian camps.”

However, even after hearing the Gospel at camps, he struggled to fully embrace God and have a real relationship with Him. " It wasn't until two years ago that my heart was truly transformed and it really deepened during a time of personal crisis when I was praying for a solution to a health problem that was causing me immense stress. As I prayed, I felt an immediate response from Jesus, and that moment became a turning point in my life. Since then, I have experienced His presence in my daily life, guiding and comforting me. This experience has inspired me to help others, especially youth, find the same connection with Jesus that I have found.”

Now, as a Developing Global Leader, Fotion wants to impact the youth in his country through sports. “Looking forward, my vision is to become a football coach and use this platform to share the gospel and positively impact the lives of young people. I believe that football can be a powerful tool to connect with boys, offering not only a sport to enjoy but also an opportunity to guide them in their spiritual journey. Through coaching, mentoring, and prayer, I hope to lead them towards a relationship with Jesus, just as He has transformed my own life.” Fotion will be the first in his family to graduate with a university degree.
