My name is Adriana and I currently live in Sogamoso, Columbia with my parents and my brother. My childhood in general was very happy until my father's health was seriously affected to the point of not knowing if he was going to be able to live. During that time my family's economy was poor, so we struggled a lot to support ourselves financially and emotionally due to my father's illness. I got involved in a toxic relationship that hurt me a lot and brought me many problems with my family. Because of that, I came to feel that my life was meaningless, and I was not motivated to move forward.
During my lowest time, a friend invited me to attend a Young Life club and then I went to camp shortly after. From that moment on, I realized my need for Jesus and that I wanted to build a relationship with Him! Since then, everything changed, and my life has been very good, full of blessings for me and those around me.
Now, through the Developing Global Leaders program, I am in my second year of industrial engineering at the National University. My dream is to graduate with academic excellence and then specialize in other areas that are of benefit to the ministry. In this way I want to dedicate myself to help young people to know more about Jesus and to live experiences full of love as I have felt.
