My name is Munganjargal but I go by Mungunuu. I have three brothers and a sister, and I am the youngest of five children. We had a very tumultuous childhood because my father had a drinking problem, and my mother alone worked to be able to support all of us. My parents divorced when I was in kindergarten but my father refused to cease his behavior. Through extensive intervention, we now have no contact with my father.
Eventually, my family's situation grew worse, and we started spending the night in different places. Finally settling somewhere stable, we began attending church and my middle brother accepted the Lord. When my brother invited me to the youth program, the moment I walked in, I saw people’s eyes smiling, full of joy and love. I liked the atmosphere and everyone’s attitude. At that time, I began to feel God occupying a place in my heart, and I gained faith that God really exists and I started serving Him. After faithfully serving for a time, I became a Young Life leader. Before I came to God, I did not know the value of life, I had a bad attitude and was judgmental. Now, I know there is a loving God who is with me, and I am living a meaningful life.
As a Developing Global Leader, I am studying dance education at Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture. I want to further develop my dance talent that was given by God to serve Him and praise Him through dance. Furthermore, I wish to establish a dance group through Young Life and hope to glorify God by starting a career in the arts.
