My name is Sraboni and I live in South Asia with my mother and two brothers. My father passed away seven years ago and our family's main pillar was lost, and due to financial difficulties, my two brothers and I considered not continuing our education. My two brothers now have trade jobs to help and I am continuing my studies and tutoring others to make extra money to help support my family. We manage our daily life arrangements carefully and have overcome many challenges. A significant aspect of our family is the way we support and encourage one another.
I encountered Jesus through church as a young girl, and I accepted Him into my life. Following this decision, I began praying regularly and reading the Bible, which deepened my faith. One day, I met a Young Life leader through contact work, which led me to attend my first Young Life club. I was warmly welcomed, and the experience left a lasting impression on me. Later, I had the opportunity to attend a camp where I got to know Jesus more deeply. Since then, my journey with Young Life has been transformative and has played a significant role in my spiritual growth.
Now as a part of the Developing Global Leaders program, I am studying English at a local university; my goal is to become proficient in the language. I'm passionate about teaching, so my future aspiration is to become an English teacher. I believe that by sharing my knowledge and love for the language, I can make a positive impact in the lives of many students. I will be the first in my family to graduate from university.
