Moshi is from a small central city in a country in South Asia. During his adolescence, Moshi became addicted to drugs and his life was full of chaos. After moving away from home to live in a hostel and attend high school, a pastor slowly helped him get out of the harmful habit. It was an extremely challenging time, but he was surrounded by good people from a church and through their love and advice, was able to overcome his addiction.
The first time Moshi got involved with Young Life was through an uncle that had spoken about a youth organization that held fun camps for teenagers. Through this uncle, Moshi joined Young Life and went to camp where he got to know Jesus deeply and his entire life changed. Where he once only knew chaos, he found peace and assurance in God. Now, Moshi is a volunteer leader who helps in his area. He helps at club, in the Capernaum ministry for students with special needs, leads Discovery Bible Study, takes students to camp.
As a student in the Developing Global Leaders program, Moshi is studying social sciences at a local university. In addition to becoming the first person in his family to graduate from university, Moshi wants to develop into a strong spiritual leader. In the same way he came to know the Lord, he hopes many young people will come to the Lord through their involvement in Young Life. He is also a keen learner of music and wants to advance the Lord's kingdom through worship and praise. Moshi’s future goal is to become a kingdom minister and a teacher.
