Tushar

My name is Tushar. I currently reside in South Asia, and I am the only child of my parents. When I was just three months old, my father passed away, leaving my mother with the task of managing our household. Despite her best efforts to work, her earnings were only sufficient for our basic needs. However, despite the struggle we faced, I had a happy childhood with my mother.

I came to know about Jesus at a very young age, but my faith was not built soundly in him. I encountered growth in my faith when I met my Young Life leader. Through bible study sessions and interaction with him, my relationship with Jesus deepened. My joy in life was cut short when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She lost her battle with the disease and passed away. It was an incredibly trying time for me, but through the grace of God and my Young Life family, I found the strength to overcome my grief.

Now as a Developing Global Leader, my greatest ambition is to align my dreams and desires to serve the community with moral integrity as I strive for excellence. I hope to reach out to more kids and help them grow in their faith as my leader did with me. I am currently pursuing a degree in music and arts at a local university and am looking forward to building a career as a music teacher and blessing the world with music.
