Patience

My name is Patience and I am from a family of six children. I am the last born and due to financial issues, almost all my siblings didn't further their education to the tertiary level. We used to live along the coast where my parents engaged in the fishing business. It was my dream to go to college in order to be able to work and earn a living and expand my ministry.

My parents were Christians and they took me to church throughout my upbringing. In 2013, after the preaching, the preacher made an altar call and there I gave my life to Jesus Christ. I have been walking with Him and consider my greatest strength to be the hope I have in God. I attended Young Life camp in 2021 and I have been serving as a Wyldlife and High School leader since then.

I am studying nursing at the University of Ghana. I want to become a nurse because I have the passion to serve and help people in need. I also want to serve in Young Life as a coach and mentor to the youth to help them grow their faith and live responsible life.
