My name is Pasca, but my friends call me Mozis. I live in Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe. A pivotal moment in my life was when my father passed away on my birthday. Life became incredibly difficult for us as his family took everything of value. We were left destitute. As the eldest child, I had to quit school and began working hard to support my family and help raise my siblings. Over time, I fell into a dark place where I no longer had the will to live. By the grace of God, an invitation to Young Life changed everything.

Growing up in a Christian family, attending church was a significant part of our lives, but I always felt it was more of an obligation than a choice. Nothing felt authentic, as I was just going through the motions. However, my outlook transformed when I experienced what life with Jesus could look like at a Young Life club. Soon after attending club, I accepted Jesus as my Savior. Then and there, I gained a constant companion whose love for me was unwavering. I no longer felt sad or alone. I had a purpose.

As a Developing Global Leader, I am studying computer programming at Midlands State University. I aim to be the first in my family to graduate from university. This education will enable me to support my siblings and share the good news of Jesus with those I encounter. I hope this opportunity will lead me to better job prospects, financial stability, and the freedom to truly make a difference in my community and abroad.
