My name is Christian and I reside in Cebu City in the Philippines with my family including my auntie and her son. When I was little, I was bullied and had few friends, and people made fun of the way I looked. Because of that, I lacked self-confidence throughout my childhood and never believed I was enough.

The first time I heard about Young Life, I had no idea what to expect. I was hesitant it would be boring music, boring people, and a boring event. I could not have been more wrong. I later agreed to go to camp, but I was not prepared to commit my life to Jesus. However, upon hearing the good news, Jesus changed my life and I found new confidence. My vision for ministry is to invite as many people as I possibly can to come hear the good news about the love of God.

Now a Developing Global Leader, I am studying hospitality and tourism at Cebu Eastern College. I want to grow in my leadership and communication skills and continue to serve in Young Life. My heart is that all youth would experience true happiness in knowing God. I will be the first person in my family to graduate from university.
