Armine

Armine, who usually goes by Armush, is a very positive and diligent young woman from a small village near the capital of Armenia. She lives there with her younger brother and parents. Her brother just returned from the army and her father is a military man. Armine recalls her childhood as very active and fun, she was always interested in football, so she spent a lot of time outside with the boys. Despite all the fun, her father's alcoholism and his constant quarrels with her mother left an imprint on her worldview.

Having loved soccer since childhood, she joined a sports group as a teenager. Her coach turned out to be a Young Life leader, and she did not miss the opportunity to become a good friend and invite her to the club. Armine was impressed by the atmosphere, acceptance, friendliness, and love. After going to clubs for a while, she decided to give her life to Jesus and let the Lord heal her wounds. Now she is an active volunteer leader, and her favorite part of the ministry is contact work. Through sports, she is able to reach more and more teenagers, in which she is active and developing. In addition to sports, Armine enjoys playing the guitar and leading worship.

With the help of the Developing Global Leaders program, Armine is realizing her dream of becoming a football coach-educator and working with kids. She feels a call from God to introduce young people to God and is very happy that she can use her education to fuel her passion for kids.
