Igor

My name is Igor. I live in the capital city of a Russian province with my father, mother, four sisters and older brother. I am a child of believing parents and have been going to church from a young age. I started doing ministry with children and now I am the team Young Life leader in my town. I will also be the first in my family to graduate from college.

I have known God since childhood. During a morning church service, God revealed Himself to me and touched my heart. This moment shaped my relationship with Him. Participating in my baptism and serving in ministry has also grown my faith. I was introduced to Young Life and am now a team leader.

As a recipient of the Developing Global Leaders scholarship, I am studying law and diplomacy at a university in my hometown. I want to become a lawyer to help people by protecting their rights and interests. During my studies, I want to tell my classmates about God too. I also want to continue actively serving on my Young Life team by organizing clubs, doing contact work and leading small groups.
