Lusine

My name is Lusine. I was born in the city of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, where I live with my mother, father, brother and grandmother. My childhood was not peaceful, because there were many quarrels in my family. We were overburdened by financial problems, my father had health problems and our family relationships were strained.

A friend of mine invited me to a Young Life club where I was amazed by the love and acceptance from other people, and after visiting club I kept asking myself, “What have I just experienced?” Striving to be among such people, I continued to attend clubs and even church. When I went to Young Life camp, I repented and decided to follow Christ, because it was really His special love that I felt. Now, I am actively serving on the team reaching teenagers of our community. Also I lead a small group and helping young people to know Christ more and more. My dream is to have many disciples and followers of Christ, expanding the Kingdom of God.

Since childhood, I have been interested in everything related to law, as this is the profession of my mother and grandmother. It is impossible to get a job in this field without a university degree, so I am studying to become a lawyer, working hard to do my best and get a diploma with honors.
