Ramsey

Ramsey, whose name has been changed to protect his identity, is a passionate young man who lives in a large city of his Muslim-majority country in Central Asia. His father left their family in his early childhood, so he lives with his mother and his grandmother, who mostly raised him because his mother had to work hard to provide for them. Ramsey had to become independent from a young age and be able to solve his problems without the help of adults.
His mother went to the local church when he was a young boy, and Ramsey came to know Christ from an early age. In his late teens, Ramsey realized the value of Christ's sacrifice and His love for him personally, which was a big influence in his life. He went to Young Life when one of the Leaders came to his church to introduce the ministry. Ramsey went to Young Life camp and has been involved since.
Now, as a Developing Global Leader, he is pursuing a degree in engineering and computer science. He has had a sharp mind and a love of the exact sciences from an early age. His higher education will fulfill his desire to achieve a better standard of living and make an even greater impact on his community. He is already taking his first steps in programming and is making progress with his like-minded friends. His dream is to open his own IT company and begin a new Young Life club in his city with the goal of supporting the mission financially in the future.
