Donald

Donald is a student majoring in engineering and computer science at the Science University in Tirana, Albania. Originally from the village of Mirdita, his parents made the courageous decision to move to Tirana to provide better opportunities for their children and to be closer to essential institutions. Growing up, he learned the value of hard work and began supporting his family from a young age. His family's unwavering support and sacrifices have left a lasting impression on Donald, and he is immensely grateful for the loving environment he was raised in.

As he embarked into his faith journey, Donald found comfort in his Catholic background but longed for a personal relationship with Jesus. It was through the church's mature meetings and the guidance of their leader and pastor that his spiritual connection began to deepen. Invitations to Young Life meetings and transformative experiences at camps also played a significant role in Donald's faith journey. "A catalyst at camp was the twenty minutes of quiet time with Jesus that made me think very straight forward about what I can do with my life."

Now, as a Developing Global Leader, Donald is pursuing a degree in engineering and computer science which would lead to a career as a front/back-end web developer. "I hope to work really hard with my school and get a lot of experience in my field of study, with an end goal of creating something on my own in the field of technology."
