Anahit

My name is Anahit I’m from Yerevan, Armenia. My parents divorced a few years ago so I lived under my father’s care. However, since his recent passing, I live with my sister and my grandparents. As a teenager, I spent a lot of time studying and was very diligent, and as a result, I excelled in my studies. Despite all the difficulties that my family was going through, it did not affect me negatively, but on the contrary, it shaped my character.

I was sixteen years old when my classmate invited me to a Young Life club for the first time. I started going to clubs, got to know Jesus and fell in love with Him. I saw the great love that was shown to me in Young Life and I realized that I must become someone who gives that sincere love to others and care for people who need it. Now I serve on a Wyld Life team, walking alongside young teenagers.

As a Developing Global Leader, I have big dreams for my future studies. I study architecture at the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia and have a goal to become an accomplished professional with a good job and thereby, able to cover many needs. I will be the first one in my family to graduate from college. At the same time, I attach great importance to my service dreams; I desire to become a good leader and to take responsibility before the Lord for his lost lambs. I dream that the young people of my group will be so close to God that one day we will serve together and bring glory to the Lord.
