Sara

My name is Sara and I live with my mom and older sister in Tirana, Albania. I am grateful for many happy memories with my family from my childhood, however everything in my life stopped upon my father’s diagnosis with cancer. As a family we have reeled since his death, gaining our footing one day at a time. My church and Young Life community have provided not only support and encouragement, but also purpose and a sense of calling. My goal is to reach children who have never felt loved. I want to be there for kids who have lost their parents or do not feel protected. It is a joy to share the gospel with them and make them feel wanted and loved by Jesus. Now a Developing Global Leader, I am studying psychology at European University of Tirana and want to use my degree to be a positive influence in my community.
