Jan

My name is Jan and I live with my family in Prague, Czech Republic. I am the oldest of three children and grew up in a believing family. My parents have dedicated their lives to serving children. First in Sunday school, later in camps, and finally, they founded their own elementary school, where they help with the growth and formation of children, emphasizing Christian values. They have greatly influenced my attitude and approach to life.

Because I grew up in a Christian family, I knew God from an early age. Nevertheless, there have been moments in my life where I have had to decide for myself to follow after Him. Gradually, God has placed people outside of the church on my heart, including reaching teenagers in my community through Young Life. I am hungry to pursue ministry and evangelistic training in order to better reach others with the Gospel.

Now a Developing Global Leader, I am studying theology at Charles University. I would like to see the church in Prague grow and witness first-hand how God changes human lives. After graduating, I would like to work in a church and help build bridges for unbelievers in my country. I will be the first in my community to graduate from university.
