My name is Wiktoria and I grew up in a town nearby Poznań, Poland with my parents, grandparents and older brother. My family home has always been a full house. Difficulties for our family started when my dad had a heart attack, however, thanks to that scary situation, his bowel cancer was detected and he was able to receive help just in time. Following that stressful time, my grandmother had some health issues and broke her leg and is wheelchair bound to this day. Throughout the uncertain events in my home, my family supported me in my journey to attend one of the best colleges in my country. I’m really grateful to them for helping make it possible for me.

When it comes to my relationship with Jesus, He always has been in my life, mainly due to my mother’s kind encouragement. Thanks to Young Life, this bond evolved significantly throughout my teen years. From my first club, I absolutely fell in love. Even more crucial is that I have felt so loved by God through that community, that today I aspire to give that love to teenagers just like myself.

After persevering through the rigorous process and being accepted into Poznan University of Technology, I want to become an architect and make my family proud. As a Developing Global Leader, I am growing in leadership and ministry skills and hope to fulfill my potential in school, and focus on building relationships with local kids. Above all I am resolute in my desire to know God and walk with Him every step of the path He has for me.
